What a traumatic day we've had. This morning, our mama goat, Trixie, died. We're not exactly sure what happened, but it appears that she either strangled herself or choked. Poor thing. Her baby (though not really a baby anymore) has been bleating all day long, looking for his mama. Poor Madeline is just devastated.
As much as I love living in the country, I am absolutely not cut out for farm living (cue the "Green Acres" music). Oh, and my wild cat is sick too. Where can that lead????
