In case we don't end up using the cradle, it won't be a complete waste. It seems to be Jon's new favorite place. I found him in there this morning, discussing how to get to Texas with Jim Bowie. It was being used as a covered wagon. Then later on, he was lamenting to someone else (Davy Crockett, maybe?) about how they "needed to get out of this jail" at the Alamo. So the cradle can also stand in as a jail.

Davy Crockett never went to jail (as far as I know). And I don't know why Jim Bowie would be going to Texas. Maybe for more soliders.
