Jon's Thoughts on Pregnancy

Yesterday while getting out of the shower, Jon popped into the bathroom to ask me a question. He took one shocked look at me and said, "Oh. My. Gosh. What happened to your tummy?" Nice. Real nice.

A New Idea

In case we don't end up using the cradle, it won't be a complete waste. It seems to be Jon's new favorite place. I found him in there this morning, discussing how to get to Texas with Jim Bowie. It was being used as a covered wagon. Then later on, he was lamenting to someone else (Davy Crockett, maybe?) about how they "needed to get out of this jail" at the Alamo. So the cradle can also stand in as a jail.

SNOW!!!

After watching the rain fall all day (and the wind blew too) while the temperature waivered between 32.2 and 33.1, we finally had snow, beginning yesterday evening. How can it rain when it's 32 degrees outside?? Not even freezing rain, but real rain. The official measurement as of noon was 5 inches. And it's still snowing. I guess Bill will be home for several days, as no one braves this sort of weather around here. And with temperatures at freezing level for highs and in the single digits for lows, I think our snow will be around for a while.
