Occeneechee Day

We spent an enjoyable day at Occeneechee State Park, located outside of the little lake side down of Clarksville, VA. Our home school group goes there every few weeks. They have a large picnic area that we go to. There's the lake to play by and a giant playground for the younger kids. All of the boys, including Jack, spend time walking along the shore line. The moms and some of the older kids sit in the picnic area and talk. There is a gift shop/information center not to far from where we picnic. We all went shopping there and got some neat stuff. Finally, after a very long day, we went home. Now the boys have gotten back from baseball practice and mm and I finished some sewing.
